We're Rotaract Club of Cape Munyonyo
26 friends serving Kampala since 2016.
We are a community-based club serving the world under the Rotary Global Network that brings together over 1.4 million like-minded individuals. Rotary strives to build a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change and impact in the community and ourselves. We value diversity and celebrate the inclusion of people of all backgrounds, regardless of age, race, color, religion, culture, sex, and religion.
The Rotaract and Rotary community in Uganda is structured into Districts, D9213 and D9214.
Our club is premised in D9213, with a total of 138 Rotaract Clubs with a membership of 3,076 Rotaractors, this number continues to grow every year.
The Club was chartered in May 2016, celebrating a decade of existence and impactful serving communities through community projects, corporate social responsibility and professional and leadership development. The club is proudly sponsored by the Rotary Club of Kampala Central.
The club, currently runs a membership of 27 young people and 9 Corporate Members as of May 2026. Classifications of members vary across different sectors. These are inclusive creatives and arts, management sciences, communications and public relations, business management services and others. We are an innovative and creative club that focuses on achieving Rotary's Humanitarian service goals.

Our Projects
Our Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Service is guided by under the 7 focus areas of Rotary i.e. Disease Prevention and Treatment, Maternal and Child Health, Basic Education and Literacy, Supporting the Environment, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Community Economic Development and Peace Building and Conflict Resolution.
These have been done in Ggaba where we have supported BELEP at Maranatha High School, MCH at Wentz Medical Center, Road Safety Awareness, Mityana where we have adopted Namungo Sub-county for the greening initiative and supporting construction of school kitchen and Kayunga where we have done Malaria Prevention activities on disease prevention.
